What we do.

CrossFit Disruption, Broughton Astley, South Leicestershire.

We create a safe space for people of any fitness capability to exercise in a group setting, led by one of our awesome coaches. Each day there is a set workout of the day (WOD) which is repeated at every class. All movements have accesible variations and our friendly, knowledgable coaches will guide you every step of the way. The programmed workout cycles are created by our co-owners and specifically designed to make our members fitter, stronger & healthier. Using the CrossFit training methodology, all workouts are centered around movements derived from a functional fitness purpose.

Aside from daily CrossFit classes, we also run Olympic Lifting classes, stamina focussed Sunday Metcons and Community Throwdowns at the weekends. Regular open gym sessions take place 7 days a week.

Who is welcome.

We are an inclusive, community gym based in Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. We welcome adults of all ages, backgrounds and fitness capabilities to train at our box. There is no expectation to have previous CrossFit experience, or a certain level of fitness before you can join in one of our classes. That being said, our excellent programming will drive results for anyone who already trains regularly and is looking to achieve more. In every class, we demonstrate multiple variations of each movement, to ensure there is an option that is achieveable and challenging for everyone.We ask that you are supportive and respectful of each other and our coaches. We expect members to hold themselves accountable for bringing their all to each session. Gains are not easy to be made, it's hard work and continuous effort that will result in improvements. Any egos are left at the door. 

How classes flow.

Each class begins with a thorough warm up and explanation of the day's workout infront of our whiteboard.

 

Our expert coaches will then talk through the flow of the class and demonstrate all movements and accessible variations, with guidance on how to approach the workout safely and effectively. If there are any team elements within the workout, the coach will group people together.

You'll grab any equipment you need and get it ready for the session.

​

The coach will provide support to each person in class before and during the workout, giving technique tips and encouraging you when it gets gritty.

And trust us, these workouts can get very gritty!

​

After the workout is over and you've cleaned and cleared away any equipment, head over to the Coffee Club bar for a refreshing drink or energy boosting snack.

Regular goal setting review sessions support your personal motivations and allow our coaches to provide tailored guidance on how to reach your next milestones.

We don't just sweat together at CFD, we host regular fun, family socials and in house competitions to keep the buzz going even when the workouts are done.
